Summer days...

Spending my summer days with my 6 yr. old.  It's a change for me, going from 6 hours a day to myself to zero.  I'm taking a step back from creating assemblage pieces (doing some sewing to fill the creative void) and spending time out in the world  away from the computer(mostly).  Definitely a step out of my "comfort zone" but worth seeing my son have a blast at the park today.  Climbing, playing and scraped up knees! He's starting to read and I love watching him with his nose in a book. Lots more adventures are out there waiting for us!  Happy Summer!

Love this piece!

Here's to a creative weekend!

“When you start working, everybody is in your studio- the past, your friends, enemies, the art world, and above all, your own ideas- all are there. But as you continue painting, they start leaving, one by one, and you are left completely alone. Then, if you are lucky, even you leave.” — John Cage
